Meet HeAIth: a clinical decision support tool where doctors decide, AI assists, designed to assist healthcare professionals at the critical first moments of patient assessment.
The Problem We are Solving
Clinicians face overwhelming cognitive load at the start of diagnosis. When patients present with symptoms, doctors must rapidly consider dozens of diagnoses whilst managing time pressure and cognitive biases.
We support clinical judgement at the very beginning of the diagnostic process.
Why Focus on Early Assessment?
Research shows that diagnostic errors most often occur not in the final stages of testing, but in the initial assessment phase. Cognitive overload, anchoring bias, and time constraints can cause clinicians to miss crucial differentials or order suboptimal initial investigations.
HeAIth steps in at this critical juncture. When a patient presents with symptoms, our AI-powered platform:
- Suggests comprehensive differential diagnoses based on presenting complaints
- Recommends appropriate initial investigations for early diagnostic workup
- Flags red-flag symptoms that require urgent attention
- Provides evidence-based clinical reasoning to support decision-making
Doctors Decide, AI Assists
We are building this with frontline healthcare professionals who understand clinical reality:
- Cognitive load in A&E and GP surgeries
- Pressure of 10-minute consultations
- Fear of missing critical diagnoses
We are assembling a Clinical Advisory Board of 3-5 founding GP advisors to guide HeAIth's development.
What We are NOT
Let us be clear about what HeAIth is not:
- Not a replacement for clinical judgment – We assist, we do not replace
- Not a diagnostic tool – We support the start of the diagnostic process, not the final diagnosis
- Not yet approved – We are transparent: HeAIth is in development and does not have MHRA authorisation
- Not overpromising – We acknowledge limitations and are building responsibly
Where We Are Today
As of Q3 2025, we have completed our MVP. Our core AI engine is functional, trained on medical literature and symptom-disease associations. But we are not rushing to market.
Our current focus:
- Advisory Board Formation – Recruiting 3-5 founding clinical advisors (applications open now)
- Product Refinement – Incorporating clinical feedback into algorithm and UI design
- Regulatory Preparation – Building toward MHRA Class IIb SaMD authorisation (Q2-Q3 2026)
- Seed Funding – Raising £500k-700k to fund regulatory pathway and clinical validation
Our Commitment to Transparency
We believe the healthcare AI space has too many companies overpromising and underdelivering. We are taking a different approach:
- Honest timelines – We expect MHRA authorisation in Q3 2026, not "coming soon"
- Realistic budgets – Regulatory compliance will cost £250k-500k over 12-18 months
- Clear limitations – We acknowledge what AI can and cannot do in clinical settings
- Evidence-based – Every claim backed by research and clinical input
